Haul In Client Openings at Ultimate Piaffe

Darrel Purdy, The Ultimate Piaffe’s Dressage Trainer and Rider has openings available in his haul-in program and clinic schedule (sorry, no openings in full training and school horse program).

Darrel’s fifteen plus years experience has been influenced by the best including A. Howard, Major Lindgren and most recently, Christine Traurig.

As a competitor, Darrel and the horses he has trained have won High Points, Championships and National USDF Awards.

Darrel’s forte as a teacher is connecting the physiology of equitation and it’s function on the dressage horse. He can both ride and instruct, which can be very helpful in unlocking an issue and then building back confidence and trust between the rider and horse partnership.

Darrel Purdy and Gauguin's Ideal participated in the with Steffen Peters 

Steffen Peters selected Darrel and 'Boo" took part in a Clinic "Explanation of Realistic Goals for the Young Horse and the Use of Effective Aids to Achieve Success". Peters, former USET Rider gave both Darrel and the six year old mare high praise. The clinic was part of Northwest Horse Fair and Expo March 19h 2004 in Albany, Oregon

Darrel and Michelle Ives-Purdy direct the Lesson and Training Program at the Ultimate Piaffe and Darrel is now competing on Ideal and Gaugin de Lully Offspring. Darrel clinics regularly with Olympian Christine Traurig. Michelle trained extensively with USET Rider Sandy Howard as well as  Mella von Brugen, former USA Olympic Coach, Major Anders Lindgren, of Sweden who was a member of the Swedish Olympic Dressage Team which won the Bronze Medal at the Munich Games in 1972. Former Chief of Staff at the Royal Horse Guards in Stockholm, Major Lindgren has also conducted many USDF/Violet Hopkins National Dressage Seminars and Mary Wanless author of the book "Ride With Your Mind" (published as "The Natural Rider" in the USA.
