Ideal Foals of 2009!
At about 24 hours August Colt by Ideal
A colt by Ideal out of Obsidian by Belucci owned
by Susan MacInnes of Half Moon Bay, California, was born on
August 22, 2009, while Susan was at an ISR/Oldenburg inspection
in California with her other colt by Ideal who was scored a Champion
Premium Colt. Susan also plans to take this colt to an inspection in
about 3 weeks.
Ideal's Promise
Ideal's Promise a filly by Ideal out of Belle Pluchette was born on April 26,
2009. This beautiful filly was bred by Margaret Scarf of White Hall, Maryland who tells us she has straight legs, an uphill canter
and a beautiful face with large dark eyes. "What you don't see is just how smart she is. She is also very friendly and walks
up to people to be petted. Finally, her high set, round neck in
beautiful proportion connects to her lovely head with a clean throat and
near perfect horizontal poll. These strengths, as well as all the
others, are the "Promise" of a future as a top performance
horse.
Embryo Transfer in Canada
  
On
May 27 a Chestnut filly bred by Gilles Brouillette using embryo
transfer was born in Quebec, Canada. The lovely filly by
Ideal is out of the Oldenburg mare Chanel de Bromont by Zymbal out
of Edle Dame by Pik Bube II. The large, active filly, pictured at just a
few days old, is very uphill and correct. The mare in the photo is
the carrying mare. With just one glance, the filly's beautiful balance of strength and grace is
instantly appreciated. Her rock solid foundation both of substance
and pedigree is accented by her desirable modern characteristics.

Our summer is winding

BEAUTY FROM FRANCE!
Udelia is the 1st filly born in
Europe by Ideal. She is out
of the Anglo Arab mare, Orlia. This
beautiful black filly was born May 5. 2008, and is the result of shipped
frozen semen. The owner/breeder is Marie Christine Etienvre of Chez Forton,
France.
