Ideal Colt High Point at Walnut Creek
California
Indicolit,
by Ideal out of an Oldenburg mare by Palladium, was the high point
colt at the Sunny Hill Farm in Walnut Creek, California. Bred by
Susan MacInnes, DVM, of Half Moon Bay, California. Indicolit total
score was an 8.3 in type, 8.6 in movement 8.3 overall with a total score
of 8.3.
Illite Scores at Con Brio Farms Evaluation
Illite, a colt by Ideal and out of Brown Obsidian by Belucci was foaled
on August 22, 2009. He was presented at Con Brio Farms on September 23 and
was scored a Premium with an 8.0 total score. Illite was bred by Dr. Susan
Macinnes of Half Moon Bay, California. He has a half brother, Indicolite,
a 2009 premium foal also by Ideal and out of Petrina by Paladium. Susan
tells us her pastures are right along the highway and she gets a lot of
comments from people enjoying seeing the foals out with the mares.
Ultimate Piaffe 20th Annual Mare and Foal Evaluation
The Ultimate Piaffe hosted it's
20th ISR Oldenburg Registry NA on August 25th. The headline
is that history was made again with one young fellow getting the first
nine ever awarded by the judge, Christian Schacht. Two young foals, a
filly and a colt, both by Ideal, were judged premium. More details below.
