IDEAL AT COLLEGE! Izolde, the first IDEAL foal of 2007, was born on February 21, 2007. Izolde (Juliet from the Gaelic version) was born 3:14 am Oregon State University in Corvallis. Six students attended the delivery.
Izolde is the product of a donation to OSU by the Ultimate Piaffe to further the education of veterinary students taking a reproductive class at OSU. She will be available for sale after the ISR/Oldenburg Evaluation on August 19, 2007. Izolde is very tall, bay, with a star/strip and no white leg markings. Isis is Second Offspring of 2007
Isis was born around 4:30 a.m. on February 28. She is out of the TB mare, You Blink, owned by Cara Tozour of Woodbine, New Jersey. The "too cute" filly is wearing a bell around her neck because her dam is blind in one eye. First IDEAL Offspring of 2006
I'm Big on Sweets born April 15. Out of Divine Ebony by Ideal. Nickname...Candy. Bred by Cheshire Ridge Farm New York. The girl in the picture is Deana Schenkel and the foal belongs to her. Also from Cheshire Ridge Farm ....

Idelweiss by Ideal out of Weisel, a Hanoverian cross mare by Wendepunkt, was born on Tuesday Morning, April 25. Lynn Marohn of Franktown, Colorado, is the breeder. Lynn commented, I am so very pleased with this filly. She is very correct, inquisitive and friendly. Lynn is rebreeding Weisel for a 2007 foal. Yea Holly!
First Dove, a Premium TB mare owned by Holly Scribner produced her second filly by Ideal. She was born on April 26. This is the 2nd filly by Ideal out of First Dove. Inzo, a 2003 filly, was Champion Filly at the Ultimate Piaffe ISR/Oldenburg N.A. inspection as well as placed 1st out of over 500 foals in North America for the ISR/Oldenburg N.A. Registry. Holly has bred back First Dove to Ideal for a 2007 foal. IDILO
Idilio a colt by Ideal out of Lida by Linaro was born April 29, 2006. The bay colt was bred by Karin Hunt of Shadysprings Farm. Karin has had many foals by Ideal and Inbegriff out of her TB and warmblood broodmares.
INXS Bows In ... INXS, a filly by Ideal out of the Premium TB mare, High Steppin Granny, was born on May 23, 2006. This is the sixth Ideal foal out of High Stepping Granny. Shannon Augustus is the breeder of this lovely black (grey?) filly. A big hug is being given to the newcomer by Shannon's daughter. (PS ... it's how the Band spells ... In Excess.) What a Guy!
"The stork has landed and it is a boy".... that was the greeting on May 28, 2006 from Jeanne Abbott. of Reddick, Florida. Ilex, by Ideal, is out of the TB mare Sprinkbok. Any doubt that Jeanne is having great fun with her first foal? Look above right. Born into a Winning Family!
Intrepid, a colt by Ideal out of the Hanoverian mare, Artemis was born on the evening of June 28, 2006. The breeder is Dede Moore of Sherwood, Oregon. This is Dede's 7th foal by Ideal. Dede shows Novice Division on her Ideal gelding, Instigator (Gator). Instigator and Dede have been selected to represent Area 7 for the Chronicle of the Horse team event to be held in Montana in July 2006. Solomon Steps Out
On July 15, 2006, Solomon, a colt by Ideal out of Scarlett by Frohwind was born to owner Donna Belcher of Port Orange, Florida. This is Scarlett's second offspring by Ideal. The first was Ideal's Saphron, who was the Filly Champion at the ISR/Oldenburg N.A. inspection at Quail Roost Hunter Farm in Florida in 2005. Solomon will go to his inspection in October. Ilsa, an adorable jet black filly was born on August 18, in Lovettsville, Virginia. Her owner, Debbie Martin, leased the TB mare Polar Promise who produced her second Ideal offspring. Debbie has plans to show the filly at inhand shows in the Spring of 2007. Previous Year Birth Archives |
