2005 Birth Announcements

IDEAL'S FIRST FILLY OF THE YEAR 2005

Is from Canandaigua, New York

This beautiful filly was born at approximately 2:00 pm February 8, 2005 at Cheshire Ridge Farm in Canandaigua, New York. Deana Schenkel (pictured on the right) the daughter of breeder Wendi Schenkel, hopped off of the school bus to find a brand new arrival in the barn and immediately grabbed a towel and started drying off the filly. The picture to the left was captured after the foal stood for the first time and Wendi put a blanket on her. This filly by Ideal is out of a TB mare named Kristy's Song and is her first warmblood foal. Wendi is expecting another foal by Ideal out of a Trakehner mare in June. PS: While the filly looks Chestnut, Wendi reports she is 'going black'.

Inbegriff's OSU Filly

Filly named Isis born March 7 to Michelle Kutzler, DVM Oregon State University. By Inbegriff out of a TB mare named Wendy's Amazon.

The Pride of Woodbine, New Jersey

Intuition a colt by Ideal was born on Sunday, March 13. Norman (barn name) is out of a TB mare named You Blink by High Steel. Cara Tozour of Woodbine, New Jersey, is the breeder of the first colt by Ideal born in 2005. Cara’s website is www.fidlerrunfarm.com The picture of the foal with mom was taken at 1 hour old. The one alone, he is 18 hours old.

Cara will be hosting an ISR/Oldenburg N.A. inspection on Sunday. October 2. She can be reached at JRTNT@aol.com.

Inbegriff's Alabama Belle ...Roba.

Nell Hodurski of Montgomery, Alabama, checks in with the news that Roba arrived at 5:15 AM on Saturday, the 2nd of April. Nell says, "She is so sweet and gentle. Loves to be petted all over and comes to the gate for attention. Her calmness is amazing. "Roba is by Inbegriff and out of a mare named Morgan that is 1/4 Morgan and 3/4 TB.

Inbegriff's Inigo Arrives!

Sara Basch of Beaverton, Oregon sends us news of a colt she named Inigo. He was born at 10:20PM on April 8. The second photo was taken at about a day and a half old when he was turned out for the first time. He is incredibly balanced and canters beautiful little collected circles". Inigo is by Inbegriff and out of the TB mare Miss Dolphin by Arabian Sheik.

Yep, She's gonna be Black

Inana, a black filly was born on April 18 out of the Premium TB mare, Black Satin Aboo and by Ideal. The filly is owned by Linda Lackman of Lake Oswego, Oregon . The mare was leased from Debra Cummings who has bred two Premium Foals by Ideal and Black Satin Aboo.

Cool Colt from Cool, California

A colt was born on 4/26/05 to Patti Lacourse of Cool, California. This is Patti's 2nd colt and 3rd foal by Ideal out of the TB mare Ocean Commotion by Tsunami Slew. Shown at a few hours old.

And From Spokane ... this Ideal sweetie

A filly was born on 4/25/05 to Shelly Loucks of Spokane, Washington. This is Shelly's 3rd foal by Ideal out of the TB mare Poco Ruler by Beforehand. Born just an hour or two before.

Immer 2005

Immer2005 was born on April 29 and is a beautiful chestnut colt out of Proxy by Ideal. Proxy is the Ultimate Piaffe's Hanoverian mare by Palladium/Wenzel 1. . This is Proxy's 6th foal by ideal. The first 5 foals have all been rated Premium. Proxy's first foal, Immerwyn, is now showing at Prix St. George. The fourth foal, Immersonne, is a stallion candidate. Immer is offered for Sale.

Long Legged Classy Lass from Florida

Ideal's Saphron was born on April 30. She is a fabulous filly out of Scarlett an Oldenburg mare by Frohwind. They are owned by Donna Belcher of Port Orange, Florida. This is Donna's first foal by Ideal and she plans to breed back Scarlett to Ideal in 2005

Irie from Illinois

Irie, filly born May 4, 2005, by Ideal out of Ha Partner, a TB mare by Chateaubay. Irie is owned and bred by Carline Young of Plainfield, Illinois. This is Carline's second foal and first filly by Ideal. She is awaiting the birth momentarily of another Ideal foal.

Inchantment Keeping Up with Mom

5/12/05 Inchantment, a filly by Ideal out of the TB mare Phillip's Deal by Great Deal was born to Carline Young of Plainfield, Illinois. Inchantment is Carline's 3rd Ideal offspring.

Morning comes Ilektra ... from Orange Lake, Florida

Ilektra, a filly by Ideal, was born on Monday, May 16. Lexie is out of Sefa’Spirit, a TB mare by Monsieur Champlain. This “gorgeous” bay filly is “already very inquisitive and active”. Lexie is pictured at 12 hours old. She was bred by Lindy Brounley of Orange Lake, Florida.

A Tall Texan

A colt by Ideal was born Sunday night, May 15th out of the TB mare names Jenny Mac by Sluggard. The "very happy" family is Lisa and Joel Fabian of Justin, Texas. Howdy pardner!

May 18th Ryndam, the Ultimate Piaffe Dutch Mare gave birth to her 4th Ideal Foal. This time it's her second Colt. It looks like this fellow may be black. Ryndam has given us the filly Ilissa in 2000, a filly In Vogue 2001 and Ixtapa the colt in 2002

News from Cheshire Ridge Farm New York

On June 6, a filly by Ideal was born in Canandaigua, New York at Cheshire Ridge Farm out of Her Royal Grace, a Trakehner mare. This is Wendi Schenkel’s 2^nd filly by Ideal born this year.

Newest Resident of Seal Rock, Oregon

7/8/05 A filly by Ideal out of TA Sonnata, an Arab mare by J K Amadeus was born to Shandy Voyles of Seal Rock, Oregon. The bay filly is eligible for the Half Arab Registry as well as the ISR/Oldenburg N.A.
