2004 Birth Announcements 4/11/04 On April 11, Idyll Time a filly by Ideal out of the TB mare, Summertime Tan by Half a Year, was born. Linda Patton lives in California and is awaiting the arrival of two more Ideal offspring. 4/12/04 Ivan, a colt by Ideal out of the TB mare Poco Ruler by Beforehand was born. Shelly Loucks of Spokane, Washington is the proud owner of her second Ideal colt. Shelly is expecting her 3rd offspring by Ideal in 2005. 04/13/04 A filly by
IDEAL born May 13th out of an Arabian Mare named Alu. The filly is called
Imnaha. Owned and bred by Sarah Asby of Lake Oswego, Oregon. The mare
scored very well in the ISR/Oldenburg Registry. So... the filly is
available to be registered by either the ISR Oldenburg Registry OR the
Half Arabian Registry because IDEAL has a Life Time Breeding License by
the latter as well as the Oldenburg, ISR/Oldenburg and the International Arabian
Registry.
4/15/04 Indiana - a colt by IDEAL owned by Kathleen Mayger of Johnstown, Colorado. The mare, Dahwhinnie's Mina by Art Deco, had a fifty percent chance of being colored based on Ideal's record when bred to a colored mare. Kathleen is delighted with her beautiful baby. 4/28/04 Indigene, a filly born 4/28/04 is by INBEGRIFF out of Arabesque and Oldenburg mare by the Holsteiner stallion Alcatraz, out of the TB mare Effie McGrooder. Indigene was bred by Karin Hunt of Portland, Oregon. This Karin's 5th offspring by Inbegriff. As for colors ... two of them were true black, two bay black and this a chestnut. No Picture 4/30/04, Idle Time, a filly by Ideal out of Sassafrass, was born to Kendra Kohl of Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Kendra, who is a newlywed, says her filly is sweet and wonderful.
5/2/04 This is Ileana, a filly born May 2nd by IDEAL out of Kontessa, an Arab/Morgan cross. Karen Keen Cheeke, of Corvallis, Oregon, is the breeder. This is Karen's 3rd Ideal offspring out of Kontessa. So far ALL of the foals have received Premium rating. The 2002 colt was Champion Colt of the ISR/Oldenburg Inspection. 5/2/04 On May 2nd a colt by Ideal out of O.O. Sadie, a TB mare by Ground Zero, was born. Ideal Inspiration (Spirit) is owned by Debbie King of Falls Church, Virginia. Pictured at 18 hours old.
5/2/04, Intuit, a bay colt by Ideal, out of Natures Sangari, a Russian Orlov/Arabian mare by Natures Ballet was born. Linda Patton of Fort Jones, California, is the breeder.
5/4/04 - Darlene Judd & Andy Brower welcomed the birth of a "very large, spunky," filly on May 4. The filly named Ica is by IDEAL out of the Holsteiner mare Hespera by Constitution. The is Hespera's 2nd offspring by Ideal. The first was a colt that scored premium at his inspection.
5/4/04 - Iluvatar, a colt by IDEAL out of a TB mare was born. Cindy Henley, who lives in Virginia, said her new Ideal offspring was "gorgeous".
5/7/04 Incahoots a colt by Ideal out of the TB mare Wingfoot Express by Desert God was born. Incahoots was bred by Wendy Wilkinson of North Plains, Oregon. This is Wendy’s third colt by Ideal.
5/10/04, Imar, a black colt by Ideal out of Hushabi Bayabbi, a mare registered with the Half Arabian Registry who is one quarter Russian Orlov, was born. Imar was bred by Linda Patton of Fort Jones, California, and is one of three 2004 foals by ideal. 5/15/04, Immeasureable Faith, a filly by Ideal out of Her Royal Grace, a Trakehner mare, was born to Pam Vania of Holley, New York. Sale Page 5/21/04 InShrift, a black colt by Inbegriff out of the TB mare Blow by Order was born. Wendy Wilkinson of North Plains, Oregon, was the breeder. 5/21/04, Quentin a colt by Ideal out of My Heart's Desire, a Selle Francais mare by Esop's Fable and is owned by Dena Nichols of Chandler, Arizona. Quentin will be presented to the NASFA in October. no picture 5/23/04, Ivy League, a colt by Ideal out of the TB mare Cupcakesnpuddin by Star Spangled was born. Juergen Strauss of Trenton, New Jersey, is the breeder. He reports that Ivy League is a very large bay colt and the best mover he has ever had. 5/28/04 Irish Surprise is pictured at a week old. He is
out the TB mare, Windy Gallo by Pappagallo. Irish Surprise is
owned by Lynn Marohn of Denver, Colorado and is the 2nd foal by Ideal out
of Windy Gallo. He is "sweet and friendly and puts up with
having his naval dipped in betadine". 5/28/04 It's a chestnut colt with 4 socks and a rather unique face
marking for Gretchen Taylor of Portland. Gretchen is a student at Oregon
State College in Corvallis. Gretchen was a working student at Ultimate
Piaffe for two summers. The mom is a Thoroughbred. no picture 6/4/04, a colt by Ideal out of Gabrielle, an Oldenburg mare by Grand Slam, was born to Laverne Pendziwiatr of Nescopeck, PA.
6/23/04 Filly, named Amazing Grace, out of Rise to the Occasion (Shammy)
a TB Mare. The filly was foaled at Pioneer Equine in Oakdale, CA. Her
proud owner, Kathy Vanderbilt, is moving from California to Eugene, Oregon at the end of July. no picture 6/28/04 An IDEAL Filly for Dede Moore of Sherwood, Oregon. This is Dede Moore's seventh foal by IDEAL! This filly is out of the Hanoverian Mare Giselle by Gaudemeus. Dede lives in Sherwood, Oregon. So far, of the foals tested, six have been judged Premium.
7/16/04 Ilario a colt by Ideal out of Skip April Fifteen a Appendix QH. mare by Skiptail was born to Kathy Benchley of Midland, Michigan. This is Kathy's second foal by Ideal. The first, a filly, scored a Premium at her testing. Kathy says, "His name ... Ilario ... means merry and cheerful in Italian and it fits him perfectly."
In these pictures our little Pisano is 2 days old and is unfolding to be a very nice looking colt. He is quite large for coming from a 15.2+ mare.
